Post 3-Birth Defects
Since it is January and January is Birth Defect Prevention Month, I thought I would talk a little bit about what a birth defect is. So a birth defect is a physical or biochemical that is abnormally present at birth. Some may be caused by environmental influence. For example Smoking. With smoke in the air people will breathe it in and then that can cause birth defects. 1 and 33 babies born in the United States are unfortunately born with a birth defect. Some birth defects are: appearance, organ function, and physical and mental development. So stay healthy and stay in "The Doctor's Office."
